Second APSL Research Symposium (APSL-RS 2012) which was held on Saturday 17th November 2012 at Double Tree by Hilton Sheffield Park Hotel in Sheffield. APSL-RS 2012 provided a platform for UK based young Sri Lankan and international researchers to come together, share knowledge and start effective collaborations. It was also an exciting opportunity for the delegates to learn about cutting-edge research and technologies. Dilanthi delivered a keynote speech titled ‘Rebuilding for Resilience: Reconstructing Infrastructure in the North and East of Sri Lanka’. Please see "here" for the event flyer. 

Association of Profesisonal Sri Lankans in the UK (APSL)  is a not for profit membership association setup with the aim of promoting co-operation, raising professional standards and projecting a more positive image of the Sri Lankans in the UK. Its mission is to to promote unity and professionalism among the Sri Lankans in the UK and harness their knowledge and skills for the development of Sri Lanka and the enrichment of the United Kingdom.
